“Stadt am See” – The anniversary song for the city’s 2026 jubilee

A special anniversary needs a special sound: Radolfzell is getting its musical centerpiece with the song “Stadt am See”, composed especially for the city’s 1,200th anniversary in 2026. Modern, catchy and full of joie de vivre, the song sums up the city’s attitude to life – young, open and communal.

Stadt am See” was composed and written by Rainer Dost, recorded and produced by Mike Lindauer in the Landei Production recording studio on the Höri. The song is sung by Punita Lorch and Jörn Weprich. The music was recorded exclusively by musicians from Radolfzell – with the involvement of local ensembles and the town’s typical brass band music. A genuine Radolfzell song, deliberately without the use of artificial intelligence.

Sheet music for everyone – participation expressly encouraged

The anniversary song is designed so that as many ensembles as possible can use it. Sheet music, lyrics, arrangements and practice materials are available for download on the Links page – including for brass bands, choirs, bands, guitar accompaniment and individual instrumentation.

The material is deliberately intended as a creative playground: own arrangements, new lyrics or very personal interpretations are expressly welcome. In this way, “Stadt am See” will continue to resound in new facets at concerts, festivals and events throughout the anniversary year.
