Market Square Summer | Open Stage: Music School Flute Ensemble led by Katja Verdi

In the Summer Project Recorder Ensemble, nine music students play recorders of various sizes. We perform short pieces from the 15th and 21st centuries—a small but very colorful mix that gets people excited about the recorder.

Topics related to gut health and its impact on well-being, energy, and stress regulation are also taught in a practical way and explored together. The goal is to shape your professional and personal daily life with greater balance, motivation, and joy.

Under the motto “What do you mean, ‘old’?” we want to put together a short program for young and old alike that also encourages everyone to join in. Who can catch a ball? Who can follow a specific ball with their eyes? Who can juggle a ball on their head? With music and juggling, we aim to create a colorful program that brings young and old together—both on stage and in the audience. In addition to watching, you’re warmly invited to get involved yourself and try out some simple tricks—a playful experience for all the senses that combines wonder and participation.

After the event, the S-Bar Radolfzell on the market square, in the heart of the old town, offers the perfect setting to wind down. Enjoy refreshing drinks in a Mediterranean atmosphere, right in the heart of Radolfzell.

Market Square Summer | Open Stage: Rafael Mendaro – Argentine Dance Performance Featuring Tango, Milonga, and Folklore [Watch & Join In!]

Lucia Nuss and Rafael Mendaro will perform the Argentine tango, an improvisational dance without a pre-rehearsed choreography. They will also perform the milonga, the tango waltz, and the chacarera, an Argentine folk dance. A group of advanced students will also take part.

Following the demonstration, Lucia and Rafael will offer a trial class that is open to everyone in attendance.

Immerse yourself in the world of tango, milonga, and traditional folk dances, and let yourself be captivated by stunning choreography and authentic music. In addition to watching, you’re warmly invited to get involved and try out your first dance steps—a vibrant cultural experience to watch and participate in!

Market Square Summer | Open Stage: Radolfzell Schnooke Accordionists

Look forward to a musical event full of diverse sounds and a great atmosphere.

The Radolfzeller Schnooke Vielharmoniker are not a club, but rather a loose group of music enthusiasts of all ages with very different levels of prior experience in brass band music. Over the course of their 50-year musical career, they have developed a unique repertoire ranging from lively Dixie tunes to old pop hits, folk songs, polkas, and marches.

“When we were brainstorming a name, we settled on ‘Radolfzeller Schnooke Vielharmoniker’ because we consider ourselves just as annoying as the famous swarm of gnats at the lake.”

Throughout the year, the Schnooke-Vielharmoniker perform occasionally at festivals in the region, at private events, or on Sundays when stores are open in Radolfzell—except during Fasnacht.

About the artist Jutta König and her music:

Voice and Instrument: She has a distinctive, expressive, and soulful voice, which she accompanies with virtuosity
on a 6- or 12-string guitar.

that are skillfully performed. It conveys sincerity and allows listeners to feel the
emotional depth behind every word and note.

Her German and English texts are profound and address topics such as
self-determination, animal welfare and nature conservation, peace, veganism, living together
, and love in all its facets.

Lifestyle and Musical Distinctiveness:
Jutta König has been following a raw vegan diet since 2006 and has been performing her music for 15 years at the
frequency of 432 Hz, which is considered particularly harmonious and soothing.
