49th Radolfzell Christmas market

The Christkindlemarkt is a real institution in Radolfzell. In 2026, it will take place for the 49th time on and around the market square in front of the cathedral. Far from commercialism, authentic and regional, the four-day market offers an atmospheric ambience and a diverse, high-quality range of products.

Handmade and Unique Items
Many vendors have been part of the Christkindlemarkt for years. At the same time, new vendors are constantly joining and bringing fresh ideas with them. This way, the market remains familiar yet continues to surprise visitors time and again. Anyone looking for special Christmas gifts or little
treasures that are out of the ordinary is sure to find what they’re looking for here. Hand-blown glassware, hand-turned woodwork, beeswax candles, felt, leather, and clay crafts, fine needlework
, and creative upcycling ideas are all part of the diverse selection. Various booths feature demonstrations and hands-on activities, such as candle-making or glassblowing.

Indulgence is part of the experience
Of course, while strolling through the Christmas market, you won’t want to miss out on some delicious treats. Savory options like Dinnele from the wood-fired oven, roasted chestnuts, soups, beef strips, quiches, and grilled sausages are just as much a part of the menu as mulled wine and sweet treats. Waffles, pastéis de nata, and chocolate-covered fruit promise a treat for those with a sweet tooth. Punch and mulled wine will warm you from the inside out. The selection is diverse, regionally inspired, and made possible by the dedication of numerous clubs and residents.

Four Days Full of Magic
Precisely because the Radolfzell Christmas Market lasts only four days, it remains something special: compact, intimate, and full of atmosphere. A market like no other. Perhaps that’s exactly where its magic lies!

A nostalgic children’s carousel for the little ones, musical performances, and other program highlights provide entertainment and a pre-Christmas atmosphere, rounding out the festivities.

Further information on the program will follow at the end of 2026.
