The internationally acclaimed brass pop band from Bavaria will once again make a guest appearance in Radolfzell and transform the concert venue on Lake Constance into a bubbling dance floor. With their unmistakable mix of Bavarian dialect\, ska\, reggae\, techno and folk music\, LaBrassBanda have been delighting audiences far beyond the Alps for over 15 years. Whether at the Oktoberfest\, the Montreux Jazz Festival or the Munich Olympic Hall – their shows are legendary\, sweat-inducing and full of joie de vivre.    \nBefore that\, the Austrian “Quetschn-Synthie-Mischung” Folkshilfe will be on stage at the concert venue. Their success is based on songs that mesh like cogwheels and tell stories about being human and being human. Folkshilfe is a conceptual journey without having imposed a concept on themselves. The development of the band has been very progressive from the beginning and has allowed the band to grow bigger and bigger.    \nFat beats. Wild performance. Pure party. That’s the motto of Knallblech\, the second band in Saturday’s line-up. Founded in 2016 as a school band\, the newcomers are now tearing up everything in their path across Germany. DESCRIPTION:A specially composed symphonic suite was created for the town’s 2026 anniversary\, bringing the vibrant life of Radolfzell in the Middle Ages to life in five movements. Both secular and ecclesiastical scenes around the cathedral – from the hustle and bustle of the market to the ceremonies of the landlords – are traced in sound.At its premiere\, the 15-minute composition will be visually accompanied by a film specially produced for the individual movements by Radolfzell filmmaker Günter Köhler\, which impressively underscores the historical motifs. The premiere will take place as part of the marketplace concert of the Radolfzell town band in front of the cathedral.

DESCRIPTION:Under the direction of its conductor Kuno Rauch\, the Stadtkapelle Radolfzell provides a real open-air experience in the heart of the old town. The symphonic concert on the market square\, which takes place every two years\, is a cooperation between the orchestra and the town’s cultural office and is a highlight in Radolfzell’s music calendar. The Stadtkapelle Radolfzell 1772 e. V. is a symphonic wind orchestra with around 70 members\, which has accompanied and enriched the cultural life of Radolfzell for over 250 years. For example\, the band plays a major role in the Hausherrenfest and accompanies many other municipal events and celebrations. It is also dedicated to concertante symphonic brass music at competitions and on concert tours. As a prelude to the Market Square Summer 2026\, the Stadtkapelle will offer its audience rousing concert brass music and more against the magnificent backdrop of the cathedral. A special concept will be developed for this\, which will appeal to the audience as a whole. The program\, interior design\, stage set-up and lighting concept are all intertwined in keeping with the motto of the city’s anniversary. This transforms the market square into a place of captivating acoustic and visual impressions for visitors. Summer night feelings and all-round enjoyment are guaranteed!

SUMMARY:Ringing Minster
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate the end of the anniversary year\, the “Klingende Münster” invites you to an evening full of music\, community and glittering lights. In the poetically illuminated Minster of Our Lady\, musicians from the State University of Music Trossingen and the Radolfzell Music School will trace the 1\,200-year history of Radolfzell in a variety of tonal colors.    \nTogether they create a varied musical mosaic that takes listeners on an atmospheric journey through time. \nThe program will be performed twice on 12 December – at 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm.   \nBetween the two concerts\, at 6.45 pm\, a special communal experience will take place on the market square (no admission charge):After the welcome by Lord Mayor Simon Gröger\, all those present will transform into a large choir under the direction of Pia Löb (cantor of the Christuskirche) and sing Advent carols together. Accompanied by a brass ensemble made up of the brass choir of the Christuskirche and the Radolfzell youth brass orchestra under the direction of Norbert Steiner and Kuno Rauch\, this creates a moment of solidarity and a musical symbol of the togetherness that makes Radolfzell so vibrant.
