Qigong at Lake Zell
Since June 2001, people have been meeting on the shores of Lake Constance in Radolfzell to practise Qigong together in the early hours of the morning – an open circle without registration or obligation, supported by the special energy of the place and the desire to start the day in harmony with oneself and nature. To mark the city’s anniversary, from Tuesday, June 16 to Thursday, June 18, anyone interested can also take part in the Qigong exercises from home via live stream from 6.30 am to 7 am.
The transmission can be found at qigong-am-zeller-see.de.
Inclusive sports and meeting weekend
On 16 and 17 May, the newly founded association “P.I.T. – Positiv für Inklusion und Teilhabe” is organizing a citizens’ project in cooperation with TV Radolfzell as part of the town’s anniversary celebrations.
People with and without disabilities can take part in sports, play, celebrate and exchange ideas.
Trainers from the German Wheelchair Sports Association (DRS) offer a mobility course for wheelchair users in which safe and efficient handling of the wheelchair is trained in order to increase and maintain independence in everyday life.
A wheelchair soccer fun tournament will take place on Saturday afternoon. Everyone can take part – whether wheelchair users or pedestrians, the wheelchairs can also be pushed or have an electric drive. Teams of 4-5 participants are welcome to register, regardless of whether they are clubs, groups of friends or work teams! After a short taster session, participants with no previous experience will also be able to take part in the game with the large Pezziball and have lots of fun!
After a performance by two inclusive dance groups early on Saturday evening, the day will end with a party for everyone.
On Sunday, there will be inclusive yoga, a circus workshop and wheelchair obstacle course training. In the morning, various information stands on the topics of inclusion and living with a disability will be set up in the foyer of the hall. On Sunday afternoon, after the awards ceremony, all participants will be able to enjoy a relaxed get-together over coffee and cake. Parallel to the program, there are open, easily accessible play and exercise options such as a large soccer dartboard and an area with lots of Kapla bricks for young and old builders.
Catering will be provided and participation in the event is free of charge.

Radolfzell on the move
“Radolfzell in motion” transforms the market square into a lively sports arena where various stations are set up in the open air. Each station offers a different sporting challenge and is supervised by local clubs, which can thus present themselves to a wide audience. The clubs will also provide on-site catering. The marketplace becomes a meeting place where visitors can linger, watch and, above all, get active themselves – whether in friendly competition or trying out new disciplines. The requirements are deliberately designed so that all age groups and people with disabilities can participate equally and experience the fun of movement and community together.
