Grand Opening of the Jungle Veranda

The DschungelVeranda is an innovative and sustainable project that aims to create a green retreat right in the heart of the city. The goal is to give residents the opportunity to relax, enjoy nature, and socialize with their neighbors—all without having to travel far.

The DschungelVeranda not only helps improve the microclimate but also fosters social cohesion. It is a place for people to meet, exchange ideas, and organize activities that promote neighborly interaction—and thus make life in Radolfzell even more enjoyable. Through the use of sustainable materials and the involvement of the community, the DschungelVeranda serves as a living example of sustainable urban development and civic engagement.

Overall, the DschungelVeranda shows how small changes can have a big impact—toward a greener, friendlier, and more socially cohesive city.

The official opening of the DschungelVeranda will take place on August 8, 2026, at Jahr100Bau on St. Johannis Str., near Pocket Park.

Trombone Choir Concert for the City’s Anniversary

Focus: Blech turns its attention to the world of brass instruments. The trombone ensembles of Christuskirche Radolfzell and Lutherkirche Singen present a varied program ranging from chorales to spirituals, from Baroque to pop—at times festive and radiant, at other times powerful and virtuosic.

What makes this concert evening special is the combination of music and imagery. Selected photographs and impressions of our city and its surroundings accompany the individual works, creating a bridge between music and home. Landscapes, iconic locations, and atmospheric views of the region enter into a dialogue with the music. The result is a concert experience that appeals to both the eyes and the ears: an invitation to listen, look, and discover.

A concert celebrating Radolfzell’s 1,200th anniversary. Admission is free. Proceeds from donations will go to the Badische Posaunenarbeit Foundation (http://stiftungskonzert.de/).
